In December 2016, Paste hired me to run two brand-new sections launched as part of a larger expansion. I had cut my teeth at Paste writing about politics, and the media section I was entrusted with covered political media, so I decided to separate the business section from politics as much as I could given the constraints of our audience. We primarily interviewed entrepreneurs with the goal of gleaning some insight into their industry through tales of their business. Every article below was edited by me.
